"Torre Normanna" Restaurant - Via D. Tajani, 4 - Maiori (SA). Tel. +39 089877100
The Torre Normanna, located on a rocky cliff, was built in 1562 as a lookout tower. Today it is a well-known restaurant where you can find a charming and very romantic atmosphere, lovely view with an excellent cuisine that combines tradition with a touch of creativity and an ultra-decennial experience in this area.
The tower is structured on three levels with two main dining rooms (the lower one is usually reserved for private parties), a nice little beach is right by the cliff, a wonderful panoramic terrace gives you the opportunity to enjoy the whole view of the Amalfi coast.
The "Torre Normanna" restaurant is run by Proto brothers (the ones who led "L'Arsenale" restaurant - which was located in Minori - to the success) since December 20th 2007, the day of its reopening: a lively evening, organized with care and impeccably managed by the entire team. The buffet was arranged with a magnificent variety of gastronomic specialities proudly prepared by the Executive Chef Gino Proto.
After Christmas Holiday Season break on December 26th, another fantastic evening party was organized by Andrea Lauro, Marco Fusco, Gennaro Torre and Enzo Calaudi al "Torre Normanna" restaurant, with the participation of the well known and regarded Neapolitan singer Genny Marigliano, who was able to enhance everybody with his music and verve. Among the guests, there were two honorable presences, Antonio Lubritto and Guido Milanese. Because of the mighty walls of the tower, the loud music and fun coming from the lower dining room did not disturb the upper dining area guests who enjoyed a great romantic dinner listening to the waves that broke against the bastion's cliff.
Having said that, "Torre Normanna" is the ideal place for superb dinners, private events, delicious cocktails and neapolitan pizza. In addition, you can also relax by the sea level terraces sipping a long drink. I am sure that you will not be disappointed and your expectations would be fulfilled.
